NewsGator 并购 FeedDemon, TopStyle
FeedDaemon的作者nick开玩笑的说：
NewsGator Acquires FeedDemon, TopStyle...and Me!
nick在Blog里详细的阐述了这一事件的起因以及以后产品及自己的发展方向，用户的服务会不会继续等等的问题，与之前live Journal被Six Apart收购的时候Blog里介绍的思路几乎一模一样，对用户的态度极其负责。可能他也清楚，收购的并不只是他的产品，同时还有使用这个产品的广大用户，只有充分的考虑到了用户的感受，在第一时间让用户知道这件事情，才可能将并购产生的不利影响降至最小。
事情的起因是FeedDaemon和TopStyle的作者Nick Bradbury一直以来被桌面版阅读器的同步问题所困扰，这位老兄想了种种办法来实现实现同一用户在不同机器上的阅读进度同步，但一直没有找到好的解决办法，后来想清楚了，需要更强有力的力量帮助他实现这一愿望。这个时候，他读到了NewsGator创始人Greg Reinacker写的一篇文章：
NewsGator platform roadmap - where are we going?
然后被Greg描述的伟大前景所震撼，同时了解到newsgator并不是一家只做outlook中rss阅读插件的公司，于是毅然决定将自己的两个产品和自己一起“卖”给了newsgator。
